“We all have a story…

often with common points shared by many others, yet we each feel the story is unique to us…”

“I was an adventurous guy and quite ambitious. I had a “great” job and, was considered by others to be very busy and therefore presumed to be successful”

My Story

I knew inside that I was living a lie and that I had more to offer…

In the eyes of others, I had been told many times that I was successful, got a good job, recognised in industry and was always seen as a positive person, keeping myself in a good level of fitness. This did not reflect on what I really wanted to be known for and to offer other people.

“I had spent my entire adult life trying to prove that I was a good person and trying to satisfy others, who judged me”

From being destitute at 16 to being a Director in more than one business, with two great children by 35, would seem like a great accomplishment and a success to most.

I knew though that I was not giving back what I had been so fortunate to have experienced on this journey.

I had always felt that I was put here to give more than to take.

Over the past 20 years I have worked hard to become a qualified Professional Football coach and while working in both AFC Bournemouth and Southampton FC, I was fortunate to work with and develop many young players who would go on to make it in the world as a Professional player.

This gave me the hunger to find other ways of coaching, managing and supporting others to achieve their ambitions. I qualified as a Personal Trainer and undertook as many training courses as I could in my business roles. Over time I acquired Management and Leadership qualifications, including in-depth courses such as CBT and NLP and most recently Mental Health.

Through the various roles played out in the daily working environment, I have had the opportunities to coach, mentor, lead, manage and direct many individuals and small groups.

 Six interesting facts about me:

• I ran from London to Brighton in just over 12 hours and finished in the top 50 out of 1350 entrants.

• My perfect day is spent in nature away from the modern world.

• I am an avid reader in order to further develop myself.

• Lived in a tent at the age of 16 with no income or property.

• My father passed away in my arms in Holland when I was 23.

• I am a big kid inside (when you get to know me)
